On our fourth winemaking voyage to Portugal, we explored the regions enigmatic wines with renewed enthusiasm. Two Arinto-focused quintas, Quinta do Pinto and Adegamae, showcased distinct styles, and at Adegamae, winemaker Diogo Lopes tantalized us with Bacalhao specialties. The journey led us north to the captivating Duoro, where port blends have thrived for ages, and now, intricate table wines like Touriga Nacional shine. Quinta do Crasto, a Roman-era gem overlooking the Duoro, stole our hearts.

NATURAL WONDERS
Our love affair with Portuguese wines was first sparked during a transformative trip in 2007, where we were captivated by Portugal's allure. We have since planted the prized Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cao, Tinta Roriz and Sousao - all red varietals. A later planting of Arinto, has unlocked Riesling-like wonders.
