With French heritage, Fred loves to cook a range of wonderful French-inspired recipes, including his amazing Pâté de Fois de Volaille (Chicken Liver Pâté).

No doubt at some stage you have spoken to Holly at Whispering Brook - as she manages our wine club orders and guesthouse bookings.  One of Holly's favourite Christmas traditions is baking her delicious panforte.  An Italian "hard bread", it is full of wonderful fruits, nuts and spices and is perfect for sharing with family and friends over a cup of coffee - or as Holly tells us, it pairs perfectly with our port!  She has very kindly shared her panforte recipe with us so that we can indulge in this delightful treat.
