Slow down your Hunter Valley visit and discover the artisan side of Broke at Whispering Brook. Our Picnic Among Our Olive Trees is designed to be a relaxed, nature-based afternoon.  Suitable if you are visiting as a couple, catching up with friends, or spending the day with family.

The Spring Olive Grove Experience: $180 per package (caters for 2 adults and includes the full experience below)

Family Access: Complimentary access to the kids' play area is included for children (on-site cubby house and sandpit).

Availability: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Spaces are limited to keep the atmosphere relaxed.

What You Will Enjoy

Hosted Wine & Olive Oil Tasting: Your afternoon starts at the cellar door with a hosted introduction to Whispering Brook. Sit down for a structured introductory tasting of our artisan wines to choose your favourite bottle to share for the afternoon. During this flight, you will also taste our estate-grown extra virgin olive oil.

Generous Spring Picnic Box for Two: Head out to the Olive Trees with a freshly prepared hamper packed with Binnorie cheeses, cured meats, savoury quiche, artisan cheesecake, gourmet crackers, individual small water bottles, and reusable glasses.

Under the Olive Trees: Spread out your BYO picnic rug or take a seat at our scattered tables and chairs set up through the mature olive grove. It’s a peaceful spot to look out over the vineyards while listening to chilled cellar door background music.

Lawn Games & Play Areas: Enjoy Finska on the lawn.  Full access to our backyard cubby house and sandpit for the kids.

Covered Wet Weather Backup: If it rains, the experience moves onto our large, covered cellar door verandah so you can still enjoy the olive grove and vineyard views in comfort.
